Ketan is an associate partner with the firm and has more than 13 years of post-qualification experience in matters relating to Customs, Foreign Trade Policy, GST, Central and State Excise laws, Service tax and VAT/CST. He has played an active role for various multinational companies qua transitioning into Goods and Services Tax in India and regularly advises clients on customs matters (assessment, exemptions, preferential rate and free trade agreements, etc.) including various benefits emanating from Foreign Trade Policy.

Ketan is presently engaged in providing advisory and litigation services to various clients in Indirect tax space and regularly appears before various judicial and quasi-judicial forums. He has also been actively engaged in undertaking review exercises relating to various Indirect tax laws, Foreign Trade Policy benefits and Customs procedures for multinational corporations and Indian business houses.

He has also been involved in making representations to various Government authorities, including the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Commerce and DGFT, etc. in relation to various tax and trade policy matters for companies and industry associations.

Prior to joining the firm, Ketan has worked with Economic Laws Practice and Lakshmi Kumaran and Sridharan. Ketan has worked successfully with clients across various sectors including automobile, infrastructure, renewable energy, and food processing industry etc.

He is an advocate with an LLB degree from Pune University.
