Mr. Dhirendra Sinha is the Principal Advisor at the Firm and brings with him over thirty-six (36) years of distinguished experience in Indian and International taxation, with specialisation in Indirect Taxation, Tax Strategy, Regulatory Compliance, Litigation, and Advocacy Support.

He has extensive expertise in Foreign Trade Policy, Customs, GST, Excise, VAT/CST, Export Oriented Units (EOU), Special Economic Zones (SEZ), Free Trade Warehousing Zones (FTWZ), Manufacturing and Other Operations in Warehouse Regulations (MOOWR) and Special Valuation Branch (SVB) proceedings. He also brings specialised experience in Port and Jetty Operations, including compliance under the Handling of Cargo in Customs Areas Regulations (HCCAR) and allied port-related regulations for both minor and major ports. His professional journey reflects deep engagement with cross-border structuring, treaty analysis, and Global Supply Chain Management (GSCM), including Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) facilitation, risk management, and sustainability initiatives.

He has successfully represented business houses and industry associations before various authorities and forums across multiple states including Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Maharashtra, Gujarat and Karnataka ensuring clients’ tax positions are effectively communicated and safeguarded. His advisory encompasses risk mitigation, strategic tax planning, and process enablement aligning government compliance frameworks with sustainable supply chain operations.

He began his career with the Noida Export Processing Zone (now NSEZ) in 1989, gaining valuable government interface experience, and has since worked with reputed SEZ, EOU, and DTA entities in sectors such as petroleum, textiles, leather, automotive, electronics, energy, infrastructure, and port operations. Notably, for the last two decades, he served in a Fortune Global 500 Indian organisation in various leadership roles, including that of ‘Head of Indirect Taxation’.

He is a law graduate (LLB) and holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management, and a Bachelor’s degree in Science.
